From an early age, Lauren was exposed to photography by the constant presence of a camera in her father’s hands.  That constant influence combined with an ever-growing love of the outdoors sparked a lifelong desire to capture the world around her through photography.  Growing up in southern California, things like family vacations to Mammoth, CA and hiking and biking in the local hillsides looking for hidden trails and waterfalls only fueled her passion for adventure and exploration. 
Lauren’s desire to photograph led her to Brooks Institute of Photography where she earned her Bachelor of Art’s degree in photography, majoring in commercial advertising.  Her travels and photography have led her from Alaska to Washington D.C., into Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.  Lauren specializes in travel and outdoor/ adventure photography; she is now currently doing freelance work.
